Whether you are looking for braces for your child, your teen, or yourself, we are here to help. We offer a few different ways to help you reach a smile you feel proud to share. Every journey is a little different, and we’ll work together to find the one that makes you feel most at ease.
Different Types of Braces
Traditional Metal Braces
These are a common choice for a reason. They are made of high-grade stainless steel and use small elastics to gently guide your teeth. They are reliable, effective, and a great way to show off some personality with colorful bands.
Ceramic Braces
If you’d prefer something that blends in a bit more, ceramic braces are a wonderful option. They work similarly to metal braces, but the brackets are made of a ceramic or clear material that matches the color of your teeth. These are very popular with our adult patients and older teens who want a more subtle look.
Which Type of Braces Should You Choose?
Let’s figure that out together. During your free consultation, we’ll look at your smile and talk about which path fits your life best.
Braces Reviews
This place was absolutely phenomenal. I got my consultation done and my braces done the same day with April. They were so quick and efficient. I was out of there in one hour and a half. I will always recommend this place. They are extremely gentle and created a safe environment for me during this process. If I could give 10 stars I would!
Everyone in the office is friendly and helpful. Making appointments is always easy and they are very accommodating to our schedule. My son has had a good experience with his braces, and many of our family members have also been clients here.
Excellent service. Friendly, patient, articulated process and use of product.I chose this practice because my daughter chose this practice for her daughter’s braces. She later went back for her own orthodontic treatment , making me a third generation patient. I highly recommend this practice.
Margolis Orthodontist has been a great experience for all three of our children. Their teeth look amazing and the staff are all fantastic. I highly recommend Margolis to anyone looking for braces for their kids.

Frequently Asked Questions
What foods should I avoid with braces?
We want to make sure your brackets and wires stay safe so your treatment stays on track. It helps to stay away from things that are very sticky, crunchy, or hard.
For healthy snacks like apples or corn on the cob, you can still enjoy them! Just slice the apples into small pieces or cut the corn off the cob first.
How do I brush my teeth while wearing braces?
It takes a little extra care at first, but you’ll be a pro in no time. Start by rinsing with water to loosen any food. Brush at a 45-degree angle along the gum line, then brush above and below the brackets to reach every spot.
Flossing is just as important. We’ll show you exactly how to thread the floss safely under your wires during your appointment so you feel confident doing it at home.
Do braces hurt?
Most people find that braces aren't painful, though your mouth might feel a little tender or "tight" right after you get them or after an adjustment. This usually goes away quickly. A simple saltwater rinse (one teaspoon of salt in warm water) can really help soothe any soreness. If you have a spot that feels scratchy on your cheek, a little bit of dental wax will clear that up right away.
How long will I need to wear braces?
Every smile is unique, so the timing is different for everyone. Most of our patients wear braces for somewhere between 12 and 24 months. Once we get started and see how your teeth are moving, we’ll be able to give you a much clearer idea of your timeline.
How much do braces cost?
The cost depends on the type of braces you choose and the specific goals we are working toward together. During your free consultation, we’ll discuss the costs for your unique treatment plan.
